If you’re looking for a Halloween event that feels festive, fun, and actually designed with little ones in mind, LEGOLAND Florida Brick or Treat needs to be on your family’s holiday bucket list.
We recently spent the day at LEGOLAND Florida Resort with our kids, ages 3–9, and it was such a great reminder of why this park is one of our favorite options for families with younger children. From kid-friendly rides to hands-on LEGO building activities, Brick or Treat brings all the excitement of Halloween without needing your kids to be thrill seekers to have an amazing time.
And honestly? That’s exactly what we love about LEGOLAND.
Kid-Friendly Rides for Non-Thrill-Seeking Families
Our family is not made up of thrill seekers, so we really appreciate that LEGOLAND Florida has so many rides that are perfect for younger kids.
During our Brick or Treat visit, we were still able to enjoy some rides throughout the day, and there was something really nice about being able to experience a theme park where the attractions are created with kids in mind.
If you have children between the ages of 3 and 9, especially those who prefer gentle rides, family attractions, and interactive experiences over big coasters, LEGOLAND Florida is such a great fit.
The LEGO Building Activities Were a Huge Hit
One of our favorite parts of Brick or Treat was that the Halloween fun wasn’t just about candy. There were so many opportunities for the kids to actually build, create, and participate.
Our kids especially loved:
- 🎃 Building LEGO pumpkins
- 🧱 Helping put together LEGO bricks for a scarecrow
- 🎨 Adding to a special Brick or Treat mural
- 👻 Exploring the extra Halloween-themed building stations throughout the park
These little activities made the event feel so much more interactive. The kids weren’t just walking around waiting for the next treat, they were constantly finding something fun to do.
And if your kids love LEGO, this is definitely one of the things that makes Brick or Treat stand out from other Halloween events.
Brick or Treat Stations Throughout the Park
Of course, we came prepared for the trick-or-treating, or should we say Brick or Treating!
As we made our way through the park, we found different treat stations along the way, which made it easy to incorporate the Halloween fun into our day without feeling like we had to stop everything and wait in long lines.
The kids loved collecting their treats while exploring the park, and it gave us another reason to keep discovering what was around the next corner.
Brick or Treat Street: A New Favorite
One of the newest additions, and definitely a highlight for our family, was Brick or Treat Street.
Think of it as a Halloween experience inspired by haunted houses, but created specifically for little kids.
Instead of anything too scary, the kids make their way through a fun, spooky setup filled with tricks, treats, and surprises along the way. It’s playful, interactive, and just the right amount of spooky for younger children.
And at the end, there’s even an opportunity to meet a special spooky friend!
For parents looking for a not-too-scary Halloween event for kids, this was such a fun addition. It gives children that exciting Halloween feeling without being overwhelming for the younger ones.
What Happens If It Rains at LEGOLAND Florida?
Because this is Florida, we eventually had a storm roll in, but thankfully, that didn’t ruin our day.
We were able to enjoy several of the indoor attractions at LEGOLAND Florida, which gave us a chance to stay dry and keep the kids entertained while the weather passed.
This is another thing I love about visiting theme parks with kids: having indoor attractions and activities available makes such a difference when you’re dealing with Florida weather.
Afterward, we headed to dinner and, naturally, had to try some of the special Halloween-themed food.
Brick or Treat-Themed Food You Have to Try
The holiday food offerings were such a fun part of the experience, and everything we tried was delicious.
Our kids especially loved the Frankenslice, which was as fun to look at as it was to eat. It’s always a win when the themed food is something the kids actually enjoy.
And of course, we couldn’t leave without stopping at Granny’s Apple Fries for a sweet treat. During Brick or Treat, our apple fries came in a cute little Brick or Treat souvenir container, which made it even more fun.
Because apparently, everything tastes better when it comes in LEGO-themed packaging.
Why Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND Florida Is Worth Adding to Your Holiday Plans
What I love most about LEGOLAND Florida Brick or Treat is that it truly feels like a Halloween celebration created with kids in mind.
There are rides they can enjoy, hands-on LEGO activities, trick-or-treating stations, interactive entertainment, themed food, and just enough spooky fun to make it feel special without being too much for younger children.
For families with kids ages 3–9, especially those who aren’t interested in big thrill rides or scary Halloween events, this is such a great way to enjoy the season. But if your kids do like thrills they have those too!
It’s a full theme park day, but one where the kids are really the focus and that makes all the difference.
