The Grand Egg Display 🐣

We truly enjoyed all the festivities that surround Easter time in Walt Disney World, what we found ourselves enjoying most is definitely the stunning egg displays featured throughout the Resorts. We had the opportunity to see the stunning display at The Grand Floridian & want to showcase it for you! As we approach Easter Sunday we will feature the three main Displays at Disney’s Grand Floridian, Contemporary & Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. Today our Focus will be on the Eggs found at The Grand Floridian.

Walking into the Main lobby you will find Displays throughout, like the one above, but our Egg tour will begin in the back of the lobby near the Grand Floridan Cafe where you can find, what is one of our favorites, Cinderellas slipper standing in the center of her themed Egg. There are two hidden mickeys in the Egg can you see them?

One of the hidden Gems this year is the Zootopia themed Easter egg that is actually located inside the Grand Floridian Cafe, you are more than welcome to ask a cast member at the check in desk if you could go inside to see it!

As you make your way back into the lobby the first Egg you will see is this beauty standing front and center on its own, this egg does have a 360 view, here we present you our favorite face of it. Reminded us of the Dance Cinderella and prince charming have every afternoon in the Grand Lobby .

We have made our way to the lobby center and where the bigger lump-some of the Egg displays can be found, there are so many with such intricate designs showcasing the amazing skills of the cast members in the Grand Floridian. These eggs can be found on the right hand side, if you are looking out towards the lobby entrance.

The attention to detail is absolutely amazing!

This little mermaid is living her best life relaxing in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

On the left hand-side you will find an equally stunning line up of beautifully decorated eggs, did we forget to mention the entire Lobby has the sweetest scent of chocolate you can almost taste!

There are so many amazing eggs this year but the detail in the carousel located on this display is unmatched, the carriage and the horse are absolute perfection. Although Lady and the Tramp are looking so in love, and classic Minnie is rocking her dots.

This brings our tour to the Front and the beginning of the displays, these eggs can be found as you walk into the Grand Floridian, each one more unique than the next featuring Disney films, and characters, and this year there is a very special egg you can find that represents Disney in one of the best ways.

It is almost impossible to pick a single favorite, the eggs are all so amazing, but that UP themed egg definitely stands out as you walk in and see them all lined up.

This special egg you see here tells the story of Disney, through the work of a cast member. Ellen created many Eggs for the amazing Displays throughout her years as a cast member at Disney’s Grand Floridian and her Final egg was showcased this year as a presentation of eggs she had created through the years. It is Beautiful and so unique! Thank you so much Ellen for all the Magic you created!

Past that front display and right before the Grand piano you will find this egg that might just steal your heart because its so darn cute.

You can purchase some delicious sweets and treats to the left hand side as you enter The Grand Floridian, there you will find a like, pop up shop, with a bunch of goodies keeping with the Easter theme, you will also find a couple of eggs there as well.

This brings us near the end of our Easter eggs Display tour, there’s one last hidden Gem in the upstairs shop located right before you board the monorail to the left hand side on the second floor. There you will find Sleeping Beauties Egg.

There’s no way to do these amazing creations justice through a picture but we tried, so that wherever you may be you get to take a look at the amazing work of Disney’s cast members. Many of these eggs have a 360 look that can’t be captured in a single image, and some so much detail that a camera cant pick it all up, with that said we strongly recommend you add this to your plans if you are ever visiting Disney during Easter time. You can have the opportunity to experience the full magic with these displays. Until your trip we hope this gives you a glimpse into the Easter festivities at Walt Disney World.

Stay tuned for the Easter egg Display posts coming for both Disney’s Contemporary & Yacht and Beach Club Resorts! If you haven’t already, subscribe to receive notification as soon as we roll those out for you.

Thank you for taking this tour with us around The Grand Floridian, May your day be filled with Magic!
