Hey there Pals,
In early July you found us playing in Disneyland, we had the chance to visit Galaxies Edge in the west coast & we also had the opportunity to visit Disneyland’s Pop Up Disney Museum. They have announced a closing date of September 2nd but with that they also announced a special discount for Annual Passholders to get their visit in (or visit again) dropping a 40% off code, so when you go online to book your tickets add special code “POPUPPASSHOLDER27” and that discount will be applied! So pick out your Favorite Minnie ears & book your tickets, because we truly believe this place is worthy of a visit.

We had such a blast going from room to room checking out all there was to see, a cool thing about this Pop Up is that there are hidden Minnie’s everywhere and finding them can be simple or nearly impossible, as you go through each room there are cast members to assist with the Minnie’s, take your picture, and even give you photo ideas. There were some interactive parts to the museum not many but I feel they aimed more at the photo taking guest and as a photo taking guest I was in heaven and Penelope was just happy to run around yelling “Mee-Mouse”

There are a lot of aspects to the magic of Disney, but it’s power can be forgotten at times, being Hispanic this area of the museum gave me all the Coco vibes. That movie to me was in a way closure after losing my grandmother, she passed from brain cancer and was gone in a blink of an eye, she was the pillar of our family and we all called her Mama Coco, so yes I cried from beginning credits to end when I saw the movie but in a sense I got closure that she was in the land of the dead living her best life. I honestly felt so much better, be it true or not, and walking into this room I could hear “Señoras y Señores buenas tardes buenas noches” in Miguel’s singing voice.
Truly stunning, what a decorated room could do, If you get to enjoy the passholder discount and visit one last time here’s a checklist for you!
- Don’t forget to ask for your Passholder button
- Take pictures, don’t look for the perfect shot just go explore and photograph along the way and you will be in love with every picture you find in your camera roll!
- Look for the hidden Minnie’s, cast members can help!
- Honestly pictures opportunities are everywhere here, don’t be shy take them and cast members would love to help with this.
- Take your time, go during the week earlier in the day if possible, we were the only party in our time slot and we got to spend all the time we wanted in each room (the Mickey plush wall was a huge hit with Penelope)
- Take pictures of what you see you don’t have to be in it, some of the murals make awesome wallpapers
- On your way out visit the gift shop and take home a commemorative item, a pin, a cup, a shirt. It’s nice to have something from a place that soon will become Disney history!

We hope you enjoy your visit if you are going or have gone already & if you will not get to catch it remember you can always come with us through our Pop Up Disney Highlight on our instagram page @thepeenspartyofthree There you will also find the pictures that are worthy of a screen shot to make them wallpapers like some of the pictures above.
We wonder where the next Pop Up event will happen, I believe Orlando is Due for a visit, don’t you ?
Can’t wait to see all the pictures from the final days of this Pop Up like always friends,
We Hope You Have a Magical Day!
